Moordale
The Yorkshire Group's radio-controlled electric operated exhibition track, showing a branch line terminus and shunting yard. This layout is still being upgraded, and will have more new features on it in 2011. Recently completed improvements include the construction of a station building, an additional track length at allow a 4 coach train with a run around option, and improved electrics, including lighting, electrically operated points and ground signals.
Anglia Roads
We are delighted to announce that the G1MRA East Anglia Group have again allowed us to use their portable layout Anglia Roads as the focal point of this year's exhibition. Anglia Roads is a scenic, live steam and electric track, with three continuous operating circuits. It features some splendid scenic effects (see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dei9_GGxtic for some examples.) Live steam will operate all day on this circuit. Demonstrations
We are pleased to announce that there will be several demonstrations during the day, including painting and lining, scratch built wagon construction, steam raising on a rolling road, slip coach operation and much more.
